An organisation called ‘Travel Sentry’ created a mechanism whereby any lock bearing the Travel Sentry Logo allows a US Customs officer to rapidly use a special tool to open the lock. When they are done looking at your pearly whites, the case can be secured without causing any damage to your lock.
